-Sandra Angelo - Family Adovacy Center - October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month -Support the effort to help raise awareness. Join in by lighting Navajo County purple! Hang a
purple light outside homes and businesses to show support to those who are affected by domestic
violence.

The Navajo County Family Advocacy Center is holding an Domestic Violence Awareness Evening on, Thursday October 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Family Advocacy Center, 902 East Deuce of Clubs, Show Low, Arizona, 85901. Come visit the center, enjoy refreshments and entertainment, and receive information on Domestic Violence. Members from The White Mountain SAFE House, Summit Health Care, NACASA, The Navajo County Family
Advocacy Center and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be present to answer questions.
 
*5k Color Run in Holbrook to support both Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer Awareness - October 20th- 8am-10am - Reigistration is $20, includes t-shirt and raffle entry - late registration is $25 and no t-shirt. ign-in starts at 8:00 am at the Navajo County Complex, Nzohini Walking Path, 100 East Code Talkers Drive, Holbrook, Arizona 86025. -Sunshine Tippets - Solterra Senior Living - Annual Shoppes at Solterra Event - Saturday, November 3rd, 8am-1pm. Invite local vendors and  artisans. $20 for the space and that includes lunch. Open to the public.
 
-Michelle Shrader - Firehouse Subs - Can purchase a medallion for whatever you'd like to donate - pickle buckets for $2 - loose change jar - that money goes directly to the public safety foundation and gives back to the community.

*Show Low Main Street's Spooktactular Festival will take place Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 12pm-8pm.

Annual Halloween festival in Downtown Show Low features Halloween themed games and activities, all day trick or treating, car bash, pumpkin bowling, pony rides, hay rides, haunted house, entertainment on stage all day, pet costume contest, human costume contests, Power 95.7 Hot FM's Scaryoke and Thunderhorse in concert from 4-7 p.m.
