The Community Shout is how you the listener can come in and share anything from charity events, to fundraisers and even just to comment on how cool your neighbor is, just stop by either the 1st or 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 10am to the White Mountain Independent (Conference Room), have a seat and tell everyone what's going on.

Birdman chats with Kirk Webb with the Timber Mesa Fire Medical District (TMFMD) about Fire Safety; heaters, wood/pellet burning stoves and fireplaces. Now is a good time to get these inspected and cleaned before it is time to start using them regularly during the cooler, Fall/Winter nights.
October 8th-14th is National Fire Prevention Week. Mr Webb will be visiting local schools with Safety Village to teach fire prevention and education; two ways out, smoke detector/fire alarms, home fire drill and exit plans.
