Carrie Peppard - City of Show Low - Drop of the Duece of Clubs on NYE, Monday, December 31st, starting at 11pm at the Festival Marketplace (card player statues, downtown Show Low). There will be music, hot cocoa, fire pits, photo booth, and fun New Year's accessories. Fireworks show after the drop at midnight!
Malaina Spillman - Town of Pinetop - Lakeside - Youth Basketball and Winterfest
--Registrations are now being accepted for the Youth Basketball Skills Program which begins with a clinic on Saturday, Jan. 11. This program is open to boys and girls in grades 3 – 6 and the cost is $30 per child.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation office at 958 S. Woodland Rd, Lakeside, Mon-Thurs 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; online by to going to www.pinetoplakesideaz.gov (click on the Parks and Recreation tab on the menu on the left).
All games and practices are held on Saturdays in the Blue Ridge High School gym and all participants receive a reversible jersey. We also need coaches, refs, and help running the program. Please volunteer!
--Winterfest will be Saturday, February 9th at Sunrise Park. First 50 people are FREE for tubing on the hill! $15/person after the first 50. Rail jam competition, Chili Cook-off (team of 4), entertainment, and more!! There will be more updates as we get closer to the event.
