Be a voice for kids in your community.

90% of a child's brain develops before age 5. A child's early years lay the foundation for their future success in school. You can ensure more kids are ready for kindergarten by volunteering to serve on First Things First regional council.

In this critical role, you and other council members will make high-level decisions about funding local strategies to strengthen families and improve the health and early learning of young children. Every child should start kindergarten ready to succeed.
