Partnering with Hospice Accord-Haven of Lakeside’s Hospice Suite

On Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, Haven of Lakeside and Hospice Accord officially opened their hospice suite with a ribbon cutting. Hospice Accord donated their time and efforts to completely renovate one of the rooms at Haven of lakeside with all new flooring, paint, and furniture. The suite is designed for people who are making that final journey in life. Its serene environment allows people and their loved ones a safe, and nurturing space to spend their final moments together. With a beautiful sleeper sofa, and plenty of pace, family members have the option on spending 24/7 with their loved ones during this time.

Haven of Lakeside and Hospice Accord knew that this was a much needed addition to our community, and are very proud to have partnered together to make this suite a reality.

About Haven of Lakeside:

Our Mission is to be the provider of choice in the communities we serve, a gathering place for caring professionals, and a safe haven for residents to thrive, one person, one family at a time.

Haven of Lakeside began operations in March of 2015. They are a 107 bed skilled nursing facility that offers a wide array of expertise in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, dementia care, and global cognitive impairment. Haven of Lakeside has two long-term care units, one post-acute rehab unit, one secured wandering dementia unit, and their newly opened secured behavioral unit.

Haven of Lakeside belongs to Haven Health Group LLC which is the largest provider of skilled nursing care in rural Arizona.
